As an innovative medical management company, CHN employs some of the most talented pediatric critical care physicians, hospitalists and emergency medicine specialists in the country, making it one of the foremost leaders in pediatric hospital-based medicine in the western United States. Founded in 1996, as Children’s Critical Care Network (CCCN), the mission of the company was to provide hospitals with the highest quality pediatric care in the intensive care unit. CCCN evolved not only to provide ICU care but became a leading provider of pediatric hospitalists services at several children’s hospitals. Children’s Emergency Medicine Network was created in 1998 based on the success and vision of CCCN, to provide a continuum of care from the front door of a hospital through the inpatient care areas. In 2002, Children’s HealthCare Network was established to incorporate and maximize the synergies of all the pediatric operations. The vision remains the same, medical excellence for the ill or injured child in the hospital.
